Today the 19th of November 2009 the new Dashboard Confessional album, Alter the Ending was released. I'm quite the D/C fan, in fact i'm very passionate about their music and how they touch me in everyday life. I have an Ipod hooked up to a stereo that plays all day, barring all their hits, albums, and underground music. This new album means a lot to me, as it brings comfort to my soul and heart.
Over the years I've established a friendship with the band and the people that run the Dashboard website. I'm amazed of how much I've spent on their murch but it's all been worth it to me. If anyone where to every ask me what I was passionate about in my life, its my appreciation for their music as its touched me when I've been hurt, when I've need someone, cherished good memories with people, and how everyone learns. Every song means something, thank you Chris, Scott, and John.
P.S. If I ever find someone who shared or appreciated the joy of their music like I have, they might just be the best thing. I bought the current girl I've been seeing a D/C hoodie that looks amazing... This hood means just as much as diamonds would in my eyes. Sad thing is, she won't appreciate it like i wish she would, not because she doesn't like D/C but because maybe she doesn't know what she really means to me.
